This 11.75” Broadleaf Maple bowl features extensive spalting and dramatic gain throughout the bowl.
This particular bowl is a great example of our western Canadian hardwoods and was turned from wild, Broadleaf Maple harvested from our own property just east of Hope BC and features some very attractive wood grain.
Most bowls produced by Whiskeyjack are made using the “Once-Turned” method so the bowl will slowly change shape over time making it truly unique. Any small fissures or cracks in this piece have been restored and the piece finished in Tung oil or other food safe finishes. Any large fissures or cracks have been restored using epoxy.
